Speaker 1: Andrew Fordred
Topic: Digital Forensics: the Paradox
Andrew Fordred a Namibian, previously an intelligence officer for the Crime Intelligence Service with the South African Police. Currently he is providing due diligence, cyber intelligence and investigations, cyber security and privacy, and training services to clients with emphasis on cyber intelligence and investigation, social engineering and the dark web. Also a public speaker at events such as the Journey of the Hacker Windhoek Namibia, OSMOSIS 2018 Las Vegas USA and Cyber Threats against Children UNICEF.
Speaker 2: Andre Naude
Topic: The use of blockchain and crypto currency
André Naudé is a Senior Manager and Master of Science who has a varied background, with a foundation in Information Technology and Network Security Engineering, blended with Law Enforcement, Computer Forensics, Intelligence and Business Management.
He has most recently been engaged in consulting with global Military, Intelligence and Law enforcement agencies, providing them with intelligence and evidence extraction capabilities. Besides his consulting responsibilities, André manages and provides strategy, development and delivery of forensic and corporate intelligence services to a varied customer base in industry segments such as financial services, banking, government, corporate, legal and law enforcement.
André is actively involved in cases and engagements, with duties ranging from early case assessments, processing, analysis, investigation, presentation of evidence and delivery of expert witness testimony. He has successfully established forensic investigative teams and laboratories both locally and abroad.
