A Breach Simulation - It's all in a game?

When:  Apr 2, 2022 from 09:00 to 17:00 (IE)
Associated with  Ireland Chapter
A workshop to challenge your decision-making and knowledge in a game simulation where there are rules but the adversaries have other ideas.

About this event

This is the Chapter's first 'flesh and blood' event this decade, and the Chapter hopes you will avail of this opportunity to meet old friends and acquaintances and even make a few new ones.

This event follows on from and adds to the previous Chapter Risk Simulations offerings in which you as the participants will be challenged as to your decision-making skills in terms of how you manage challenges thrown at an organisation.

At the start of the simulation there will be predefined finite resources available (yes, a budget) and more importantly the clock is ticking

Random events will be identified as the 'game' evolves to increase the pressure as the teams try and make sense of what is going on. Where will the wheel of fortune come to rest? The throw of dice could decide what happens next.

The gameplay will be largely based around the NIST CSF and addressing the challenges in terms of:

IDENTIFY

PROTECT

DETECT

RESPOND

RECOVER

Refreshments and lunch will be provided.
