Session will highlight the importance of data security standards in protecting the payment data. In addition this session will touch point on the PCI Standards Update around upcoming PCI DSS v4.0, Already released Software Security Framework (PA-DSS to SSF transition), Future of PCI SSC Mobile Standards, Walkthrough on Various PCI SSC resources and Involvement Opportunities with PCI SSC to Influence the standards.


About the Speaker:
Mr. Nitin Bhatnagar


Mr. Bhatnagar, Associate Director, PCI Security Standards Council leads the Council’s efforts in increasing adoption and awareness of the PCI Security Standards in India. In this role, Mr. Bhatnagar works closely with the PCI Council Management Team, Payment Brands, Assessors Community, Participating Organization, Government entities and Regulators. Mr. Bhatnagar is an innovative thinker, speaker, television personality, and technical writer and has been often quoted in cybersecurity news stories and has been quoted by news organizations including the BBC, ET Now, CNBC TV 18, Reuters, Economic Times and Times of India.

Mr. Bhatnagar has been working in payment security domain for close to a decade and half and has been recently recognized  amongst “Top 50 Cyber Security Leaders of India 2021”. He has been constantly part of Research and Development around role of new emerging technologies i.e. artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning (ML), in protecting Payment Infrastructure from Sophisticated Cyber Attacks. Mr. Bhatnagar possess Bachelor Degree in Computer Science from Bundelkhand University, Jhansi and Master's in "Cyber Law and Information Security" from Indian Institute of Information Technology, Allahabad, India
