Taming the Network Dragon: Best Practices in Auditing Network Configuration

When:  Jun 22, 2020 from 11:30 to 12:30 (CT)
Associated with  Middle Tennessee Chapter

The networks businesses depend on today are ever changing, dynamic, complex systems that require consistent change management processes, documentation, and administrative control. Unfortunately, the speed of business requirements may not always allow the network team to adequately test or document their changes made at midnight during the latest network fire fight. As a Partner in LBMC’s technical security practice Stewart Fey has seen it all, uncovering misconfigured firewalls and administrative oversights that were putting clients at real risk of internal and external breaches of data and system confidentiality, integrity and availability. You will learn about some of the top errors made and how to identify them in this timely discussion. Be warned, when it comes to networks, there be dragons there!
