Join the ISACA Middle Tennessee Chapter and LBMC for a presentation on the Foundations for Automated Auditing on Friday, September 16, 2022 from 11:00AM - 12:30PM CST.

Event Summary:

Robotics process automation (RPA) is often utilized to streamline workflows and automate the manual, cumbersome processes associated with some audits. During this presentation, LBMC will give some examples on how RPA can be utilized through internal audit processes and discuss the benefits and challenges. The goal of this session is to discuss and show how process automation can make internal audit work more efficient and improve audit coverage.

Speakers:

  • Brad Williamson, Data Engineer / BI Consultant - LBMC

Brad Williamson is a Consultant for LBMC Data Insights. Brad is a graduate of the University of South Carolina with a bachelor’s in computer science. He works together with a team of data architects, engineers, and business intelligence consultants to create data & analytic solutions for clients across multiple industries. Healthcare and manufacturing have been a primary area of focus. He has also helped developed some of the optimization and automation projects happening inside the services at LBMC.

  • Sriparna Bandyopadhyay, Manager - LBMC

Sriparna Bandyopadhyay is an IT consultant and auditor with a history of working in the information security industry. Sriparna is a graduate of the University of Tennessee at Knoxville with a Master of Accountancy with a concentration in Information Management Systems. Sriparna has spent the past 5 years with LBMC’s Information Security group working and managing compliance audit projects. Her areas of expertise are SOC reporting, SOX compliance, and HITRUST assessments.

Location/Delivery: The presentation will be in the 3rd Floor Meeting Room at the LBMC offices. The address is 201 Franklin Road, Brentwood, TN 37027. Lunch will be provided from 11:00AM - 11:30AM CST and the presentation will begin promptly at 11:30AM CST.
