The Covid-19 pandemic that began in the United States in 2020 has completely disrupted many of the ways that business has been done. Many lessons have been learned in Information Technology during the pandemic. The challenge today is to more quickly adapt to changed realities when the pandemic passes. This practical half-day seminar/workshop uses lecture and small-group work on a case study to help IT security and control professionals implement critical lessons. By beginning the planning while the pandemic is still affecting business everywhere, important improvements can be made in a timely fashion. The seminar is intended to stimulate thought and action to address issues faced today.

Speaker Bio: Mr Ross is the Executive Principal of Risk Masters International and holds certification as a Certified Information Systems Professional (CISSP) as well as a Master Business Continuity Professional (MBCP). Mr Ross is a specialist in the field of information systems security and control. specializing in Information Security, Business Continuity Management, and IT Recovery Planning services. He has implemented Information security programs for numerous banks, government agencies, and industrial corporations. Prior to found Risk Masters, he was a director and global practice leader for Deloitte and Touche.

In consulting engagements, he specializes in planning, policy development, implementation, and standardization of information security processes. In recent years, his focus has been on reliability, prevention, detection, and recovery from the technical and business impact of cyber-attacks. He is the editor of the multi-volume series, e-Commerce Security, and author of several of the books in the series including e-Commerce Security: Public Key Infrastructure. He has recently published Creating a Culture of Security. Since 1198, Mr. Ross has regular the column, "IS Security Matters" in the ISACA Journal.
