The Northwest Ohio ISACA and IIA Chapters are proud to host Mr. Keith Cheresko of Privacy Associates International LLC, at a joint virtual chapter meeting discussing data privacy. There has been a dramatic increase in major cybersecurity incidents affecting large, medium and small organizations in the public and private sectors over the past few years. From ransomware to data breaches, these disruptive incidents have raised the stakes for technology and security leaders. Keith will talk about these trends, including true stories, in his presentation “The Wild, Wonderful, and Constantly Changing World of Privacy”.
Keith Cheresko (FIP, CIPP, CIPT and CIPM) is a Principal of the PAI firm and previously served as general counsel of the Ponemon Institute, a privacy research organization. Prior to his role with the Ponemon Institute, Mr. Cheresko was the primary privacy counsel at Ford Motor Company. During his 26 year tenure at Ford, Keith held an assortment of legal assignments supporting Ford’s diverse business activities. Mr. Cheresko played a key role in the development of financial privacy practices designed to meet federal Gramm Leach Bliley financial privacy requirements, and was involved with a wide variety of e-commerce matters.
