Security Tips for COVID-19 Borne Cyber Threats

The panic growth for COVID-19 has steered the communities to focus on self-confinement and safety resulting a rise of online communication. Since employees are recommended to work from home a new threat towards cybersecurity is at rise. This situation has formed a creative opportunity for cyber attackers and hackers as the use of various insecure internet accesses and timid platforms are on rapid augmentation. The session will focus on several tips that we should look at in securing the IT infrastructure.

Speaker Profile:
Buddhika De Alwis CRISC, CGEIT, CISM, CISA, CCSP, CISSP, ACMA, PMP

Buddhika is an experienced information security professional with 14+ years’ experience in the field. He is currently serving as the Co-Founder and the Managing Director of Trustvault (Pvt) Limited and having 10 years’ experience in Big 4. He has worked in several GRC, technical security, business continuity/disaster recovery assignments covering several different industries, locally and internationally. Buddhika has also worked as an ISO 27001 Lead Auditor for a leading certification body in Netherlands.
