Industrial communications has become mostly Ethernet & IP-based over the past decade in all industry verticals including national critical infrastructures. This has made operational technology (OT) susceptible to the same type of cyberthreats as our IT.
This presentation will provide current empirical data about recent cyberattacks and outline the overall process and useful tools to successfully prevent such incidents from causing substantial damage. An example of a specific attack and its successful mitigation will be presented.
