The Annual General Meeting (hereafter AGM) of the Astana Chapter (hereafter Chapter) has been conducted on 26th of October 2018 in EY offices in cities of Astana, Almaty and Atyrau.

Presidents of Kazakhstan branches of PMI, IIA and ISACA signed partnership memorandum. This will help in achieving our goals and leverage synergy of our efforts on educational events related to project management, internal audit, IT governance, and cyber security.

During the meeting we discussed news from ISACA International and performance of the Chapter as well as the outcomes of AGM survey. We discussed challlanges we are facing. Presidents of Kazakhstan branches of PMI and IIA gave advise what to do to improve our situation. Then our representative who attended ISACA 2018 Global Leadership forum talked about history of ISACA and new great services offered by ISACA.

Unfortunately there was no enough attendees to vote for items in agenda of the AGM. Therefore we had an online voting with survey:

As result of online voting 42 out of 53 members supported new Director of Education and Treasurer, as well as minor change in Bylaws of Chapter.
