Speaker profile 

Stefano Maccaglia is currently the Director of the Incident Response practice at NetWitness. In this role, he leads a global team that supports customers across various countries during breaches and crises. Stefano is also instrumental in business development, helping to position NetWitness in new markets.

His professional journey includes previous roles as a Principal Consultant, Senior Analyst, and Project Manager.

Stefano has a rich background in incident response, malware analysis, reverse engineering, log and network forensics, and has investigated numerous high-profile cybersecurity incidents in the public and private sectors across Europe, the Middle East, and America. He has spearheaded projects to create dedicated internal Incident Response Teams (CIRT, CSIRT, CERT) and has collaborated with several banks and large industry players to integrate IR practices into their security frameworks.
