Sub: “ISACA Bahrain Chapter appoints new Board of Directors for 2023 - 2025”
ISACA Bahrain Chapter held its annual general meeting for the year 2022 on May 17, 2023, presided over by its President, Dr. Mazen Ali. The meeting commenced with the review and approval of the minutes from the previous annual general meeting, followed by presentations of reports on the Chapter’s activities, accomplishments, and financial performance for the past year, as well as the external auditor's report.
A new board of directors for the term 2023-2025 was elected, comprising Dr. Mazen Ali (President), Mr. Ravi Jayasundera (Vice President), Ms. Hadeel Al-Abdullah (Secretary), Mr. Sanjay Gupta (Treasurer), and board members comprising Dr. Esra Wali, Ms. Latifa Al-Abbasi, Mr. Mansoor Al-Alwan, Mr. Arsalan Ayub, Ms. Zainab Ansari, and Dr. Mohammad Tayeb.
During the meeting, chapter members representing various professions from audit, governance, information technology, and information security expressed their readiness to support the new board in their endeavors to achieve the Chapter's objectives.
On this occasion, ISACA Bahrain Chapter President Dr. Mazen Ali commented: "The efforts of the board members and partners have resulted in the successful achievement of the Chapter’s objectives and strategies. ISACA Bahrain Chapter is committed to supporting the vision of the Kingdom of Bahrain and contributing to enriching maturity of the information technology sector. We look forward to more achievements and the election of a diverse group of professionals as board members will enable us to further enhance our services to the members and the community." He added, "We extend our heartfelt thanks to the previous board for their effective contributions during their term. We also appreciate our partners and members for their support and assistance. "
