Frankie is an IT audit professional with a strong background in banking, cybersecurity, and risk management. As Vice President of ISACA Birmingham, he is dedicated to building a community for IT governance, risk, and compliance professionals. He holds a B.A. in Accounting with a minor in Computer Information Systems from The University of West Alabama, where he was a Tutwiler scholar. At Regions Bank, he has led internal projects, managed contractors, and assessed complex control environments. Frankie has also completed the AWS Cloud Audit Academy certification and actively mentors aspiring IT auditors. He is passionate about bridging the gap between audit, technology, and business strategy. As VP, he focuses on professional development, knowledge sharing, and networking opportunities for IT and security professionals across the region.

Paul Janes
Paul currently provides security architecture consulting for federal and civil governments, ensuring compliance with government regulations. He holds a master’s degree in information assurance from Capella University and a bachelor’s degree in computer and information studies from Syracuse University. He also holds certifications including CISSP, CCAK, AWS Certified Security Specialty, and Forrester Zero Trust Strategy.
Paul has been married to Dolores, a registered nurse and consciousness consultant, for 11 years. He has three sons, a stepson, a stepdaughter, and three grandsons. In his free time, Paul enjoys listening to various types of music, playing the guitar, traveling, exploring new places, appreciating art, being in nature, visiting the beach, and practicing meditation.
