Description:
The next five years will reshape how organizations perceive, manage, and govern risk. This full-day session equips audit, governance, and risk professionals with the foresight and tools to stay ahead of the curve.
Participants will explore emerging risk vectors—quantum computing, AI-driven manipulation, autonomous systems, and geopolitical fragmentation—and learn how to evolve risk management and assurance practices to remain resilient, compliant, and trusted. Through a blend of real world case studies, interactive discussions, and practical frameworks, the session guides attendees in building adaptive, intelligence-driven risk programs that anticipate rather than react.
By the end of the session, participants will walk away with an actionable roadmap to modernize their risk governance approach and strengthen digital trust across their organizations.
Objectives:
After attending this session, participants will be able to:
• Identify and Assess Emerging Risks: Recognize the disruptive forces—technological, regulatory, and societal—that will shape the global risk landscape over the next five years.
• Apply Future-Focused Risk Management Techniques: Implement methods such as horizon scanning, scenario analysis, and predictive analytics to anticipate risks before they materialize.
• Strengthen AI and Quantum-Era Resilience: Evaluate how AI, quantum computing, and deepfakes will transform traditional control environments and learn how to design adaptive safeguards.
• Align Governance with Dynamic Regulations: Translate new and emerging regulatory frameworks (AI Act, DORA, SEC rules, etc.) into actionable governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) practices.
• Develop a “Future Risk Radar”: Build a continuous intelligence and feedback model that integrates data, ethics, and human judgment to inform decision-making at the board and executive levels.
• Cultivate Future-Ready Risk Teams: Define the evolving skills, roles, and structures required for risk, audit, and assurance functions to thrive in a hyperconnected digital ecosystem.
