Opportunities abound - from cyber awareness basics and protecting yourself, to lucrative cyber careers that range from information security and threat analysis to computer forensics and protecting critical infrastructure. This presentation will cover the Idaho cybersecurity ecosystem, LCSC's Cybersecurity Management degree, and BSU’s CORe program, which provides multiple pathways for students of all ages.
Speaker: Sin Ming Loo, professor of electrical and computer engineering at Boise State University
Sin Ming Loo is a professor of electrical and computer engineering at Boise State University with interests in cyber/physical/systems security research and education, and sensing systems. He directs the Cyber Operations and Resilience program at Boise State University. He is responsible for the Hartman Systems Integration Lab and Cyber Lab for Industrial Control Systems Lab. He holds a joint appointment with Idaho National Lab. His amateur radio call sign is KI4AKS.
