The aim of the chapter is to encourage the continuous education of the professionals in Egypt. With a strategic objective of improving and developing their capabilities; the chapter promotes activities related to auditing, and managing Information Systems governance, security, risks, control and assurance.
Since 2010 the formation committee held informal regular meetings, activities and other related efforts to encourage members for the participation of the chapter formation.
After 4 years of continuous activities, great efforts and on August 2014 ISACA Cairo Chapter was officially approved and charted by ISACA international. The official launch and celebration was held on February 7th, 2015 during the chapter’s first breakfast meeting and 75 members had attended.
