Running AI while retaining Security

We’ve heard the risks of Generative AI. How do we protect our organisations while harvesting the benefits of the technology? This talk presents the current better practice standards to manage those risks in larger organisations. The presenter has developed the Generative AI security policy for a key Department and will share lessons, checklists, and links.

From this session, expect to learn about instilling better practice controls for managing business and security risks for Generative AI, Machine Learning and Large Language model capabilities.

Alistair Nicholson

Alistair is Immediate Past President of the ISACA Canberra Chapter. He is an independent Member of the Risk, Audit and Finance Committees of two Commonwealth entities, and an active consultant across other government organisations. He is a current IRAP assessor, CISA, CISM, CDPSE.
