Hosted by the ISACA and AISA Canberra Branch, please join Darryl Shields and Prescott Pym for a networking opportunity and interactive presentation on Cyber Threat Intelligence (CTI) sharing via STIX/TAXII and MISP and the ACSC CTIS Service.

Co-presenters Darryl and Prescott will deliver their presentations in two parts. Darryl Shields will present on the ACSC CTIS program and why it is important to generate meaningful bidirectional CTI sharing across all sectors of the Australian context: a call to arms. Prescott Pym will deliver a basic primer on STIX/TAXII and MISP as transport mechanisms of CTI and how they can integrate with SIEM/SOAR to lift cyber resiliency.

Darryl Shields and Prescott Pym

Darryl Shields is the Technical Director responsible for CTIS at the Australian Cyber Security Centre with over 20 years of experience within the Australian Signals Directorate.

Prescott Pym has over 20+ years of experience on the front line of cyber operations across the globe. Prescott is the former APAC Head of Managed Security Services for Verizon and is currently a Principal in the Detect and Respond Operating Unit at Deloitte.
