Fireside chat “A Day in the Life of a CISO” with David Gee and Yabing Wang

When:  Jan 14, 2026 from 15:00 to 16:00 (ET)
Associated with  Central Indiana Chapter

Topic:  Each day for a CISO is filled with personal and team challenges. In his book "A Day in the Life of a CISO”, David has captured the stories of 24 battle tested CISOs, representing 740+ years of CISO experience and wisdom, to provide lessons to current and aspiring CISOs.

During the Jan 14th, 3 PM EST global webinar, David will interview Yabing Wang, CISO and CIO at Justworks. David is based in Sydney, Australia. Yabing is based in New York, USA and is one of the CISO's featured in David's book. Yabing wrote a chapter named: Do’s and Don’ts for CISOs.

In the book, Yabing and David note that every CISO fails their first time, that the CISO role operates without a safety net and success in this role can be challenging.

This fireside chat will provide you with best practices for your own organization.

Yabing will be happy to share her own experiences on:

  • What to do in the first 90 Days and your expectations as an established CISO
  • How to be a partner for the business not the police
  • How to be the advisor on enterprise risk management
