The ISACA Detroit Chapter celebrated a monumental milestone with its 50th anniversary dinner at the historic Lovett Hall in Dearborn, Michigan. Members and esteemed guests gathered for an evening filled with insights, celebration, and camaraderie. From the warm welcome reception to the heartfelt closing remarks, the event showcased the strength and spirit of the ISACA community.
The evening began with a welcome reception where attendees mingled over light appetizers and drinks. Following the reception, Scott Monty, a renowned executive coach and speaker, delivered a captivating keynote titled "Meeting Today’s Challenges with Timeless Leadership." Scott shared actionable strategies for building strong organizational cultures, emphasizing the importance of values, communication, and collaboration.

Guests enjoyed a delicious plated dinner, featuring a dual entrée of braised short ribs and herb-seared chicken, as well as a vegetarian option of Vegetarian Strudel. The elegant dining experience complemented the celebratory tone of the evening, offering attendees a chance to relax and connect.
The second keynote speaker, Bill Allen, brought humor and practical wisdom to the stage. Based on his book "Uncle Tony’s Management Tips & Jokes," Bill’s session provided a lighthearted yet insightful take on management and leadership. His blend of jokes and advice left the audience both entertained and inspired.
The celebration concluded with the recognition of past chapter presidents, a thrilling raffle, and heartfelt remarks about the chapter’s legacy and future. It was an evening to remember, reflecting on the chapter’s achievements over the last 50 years and looking forward to many more.
