The ISACA Detroit Chapter was proud to host a She Leads Tech special event focused on leadership, growth, and vision for the future. We welcomed attendees both in person and virtually for an engaging evening filled with inspiring conversations, networking, and professional development.
We are especially grateful to our phenomenal speakers, Juman Doleh-Alomary (Chief Information Security Officer, BorgWarner) and Mel Hudson-Nowak (Vice President, IT Compliance & Risk Management, GM Financial), who brought their stories, strategies, and bold leadership perspectives to the stage.
In a lively and interactive She Leads Tech session, Juman and Mel shared the triumphs and challenges they’ve faced on their way to leadership roles in cybersecurity and risk. Attendees gained insight into the evolving expectations for women in tech and how to navigate the path to leadership with confidence and resilience.
The discussion continued with an exploration of what’s ahead for the industry—and for leaders at the highest levels. From managing change to driving innovation and championing the next generation, Juman and Mel left the audience energized with new ideas and a broader vision for their own career trajectories.
