President’s Message

Ana

Dear ISACA Detroit Chapter Members,

I trust that you have had a joyous and relaxing holiday season, surrounded by loved ones and creating cherished memories.

As we bid farewell to the festive holiday season and welcome the beginning of a new year, it is important to take a moment to reflect on the spirit of new beginnings and the blessings that come with it. In the true spirit of giving and community, I am pleased to remind you that our Chapter's virtual food drive, in collaboration with IIA and Gleaners Food Bank, is still ongoing. The new year presents an excellent opportunity for us to continue showing our support for those in need. If you haven't already, I encourage you to donate generously to this worthy cause by following this link Food Drive.

As we embark on the new year, I would also like to invite you to our January membership meeting. This hybrid meeting will be held at the MSU Management Education Center in Troy from 4:30 pm to 7:30 pm on Wednesday, January 15. We have an exciting lineup of speakers who will be covering two remarkable topics:

  • Synthetic Reality - Exploring AI Deepfakes by Daimon Geopfert - Partner, PwC and
  • Scaling Cyber Compliance for Risk Resiliency by Thomas Coran - Director of Information Security Risk and Compliance, Lear Corporation; Beth McKenney - Principal, Technology Risk Management, KPMG, and Charlie Murray - Managing Director, Cybersecurity and Tech Risk, KPMG.

I am looking forward to seeing all of our members in person and virtually in the new year and engaging in thoughtful conversations about these important topics.

Thank you for your continued support of the ISACA Detroit Chapter, and I wish you all a happy, healthy, and prosperous new year.

Warm Regards,

Ana Antoski

President, ISACA Detroit Chapter
