This month's chapter meeting will have two presentations:
1. Post Quantum Information Security - Jack Sippel
We will be discussing Post Quantum Information Security and exploring answers to "What is it?", "What does it do" and "What does/could it mean to InfoSec now and in the future?"
2. Developing Effective TEA (Training, Education, and Awareness) - Tom Walsh
Today, all it takes is one user, one mouse click to cause a catastrophic event such as ransomware. People are the first line of defense; therefore, they need to be aware of the threats and know how to properly respond. An effective training, education, and awareness (TEA) program is measured by its ability to positively influence the behaviors of computer users and reduce risks. This session provides the basics for building and implementing an effective program that enhances workforce skills and raises awareness effectively, while offering some practical tips to avoid common mistakes.
We expect to issue at least 2 CPEs for the event. The presentation will be virtual from 12 to 2 with additional time for any Q&A.
