Chapter Announcements

Due to high number of no shows, cancellation fees and refund policies will be enforced on all event registrations. 

Please note: Unless specified as conference, training event or seminar, chapter meetings are scheduled for the second Thursday of every month and held at venues around the Greater Kansas City Metropolitan area, some with virtual access available, with the standard agenda:

CPE Certificates from CVENT - ISACA Kansas City Events ONLY
Some participants have reported issues receiving/accessing their certificates for November and December events. 
  1. Be sure to whitelist programs@isaca-kc.org
  2. You must opt in to emails from the system (CVENT). If you opted out, you will not receive email notices with links to certificates.
  3. Updates will be made to profiles for participants for these sessions that may have opted out by mistake to ensure delivery.

1/11/2022 - Chapters were notified and reminded to not use the CPE Upload Tool and encourage certification holders to report their own CPE hours.
Remember: 2021 hours must have been earned in 2021.

If you are selected for CPE audit, please email CPE form to programs@isaca-kc.org with event information.
Please allow 48 hours for verification from Chapter President or other Chapter officer. We cannot certify or validate any events marked as self-report. Members, please log into ISACA to verify CPE credits for chapter meetings.

  • Women In Security Kansas City - 2022 Scholarship

    2022 -2023 Applications are now open! 

    Women in Security - Kansas City’s vision is to inspire and support women at all career levels in IT Security.  We are proud to sponsor three (3) scholarships of $2,500 for the 2022-2023 academic year.


    Recipients of Scholarship Grants must be pursuing or intending to pursue a degree or certification with a cybersecurity or information security focus. Recipients may be attending or planning to attend courses on campus or online, full-time or part-time.


    In order to receive the Grant, a student does not have to be currently enrolled in courses. However, no awards will be disbursed until the Recipient is enrolled in a college, university or professional course or certification program.


    Women In Security - Kansas City is committed to broadening the diversity of the cybersecurity and information security community and workforce in Kansas City. However, all qualified applications will be considered.


    You may be required to provide proof of residency, educational transcripts or other information needed to verify information and complete the transfer of funds to the educational entity the scholarship will be applied.
