ISACA Greater Kansas City Members: Call for Nominations for the 2021-2023 Board

The ISACA Greater Kansas City is seeking nominations for qualified candidates who are
interested in serving as a Board member.
Serving in a Chapter leadership capacity is a rewarding experience and provides you with several
benefits, some of which are listed below:
- Participation allows you to expand your professional network in Kansas and Missouri IT audit,
security, governance, and risk areas.
 - Participation allows you to help set the direction for a 550+ member ISACA Chapter and
gain professional visibility and credibility.

We are looking for leaders who are passionate and committed to serving our membership and
making a difference in our community.
We are currently seeking Officer (i.e. President, VP, Secretary, Treasurer ) positions.
Individuals must be in good standing with the Chapter and can self-nominate

What are the requirements?

  • Candidates for any position on the ISACA KC Chapter Board must be in good standing and fully paid-up members of ISACA for the year 2021 
  • Candidates for the office of President, shall have previously served as an Officer of the Chapter or on a committee of the Chapter or the nomination must be approved by the Chapter Board prior to the Chapter election.
  • Each candidate shall have consented to serve and shall have completed a Willingness to Serve agreement and Conflict of Interest form.
  • Candidates for any position on the ISACA KC Chapter Board should be aware of the time commitment involved. Board members should plan on attending the monthly Board meetings, the regular Chapter meetings, and spending a minimum of five hours per month for fulfilling the roles.

Please refer to the chapter's bylaws for a description of the available positions. 

Call for Nominees: Interested candidates should submit a completed Nomination Form, which includes a Willingness to Serve Form before Friday, April 30, 2021

Elections will be held either by electronic ballot or at the AGM in May 2021.

We have a plan to host a hybrid session in May 2021 - with a virtual live participation option with limited in person attendees.

Due to high number of no shows, cancellation fees and refund policies will be enforced on all event registrations.

Please allow 48 hours for verification from Chapter President or other Chapter officer. We cannot certify or validate any events marked as self-report. 

Members, please log into ISACA to verify CPE credits for chapter meetings. Did you know that your Chapter provided opportunities for 69 CPEs in 2019  and 70+ CPEs - virtually in 2020?
