Topic: Counterfeit Document Recognition Course
Guest Speaker: Allen Kisler
Deputy Allen Kisler is a Master Deputy with the Johnson County Sheriff’s Office in Olathe, Kansas since 2001. He is currently assigned to the Adult Detention Center as a Classification and Training Officer. He has worked in almost every facet of the detention center, including the Property Room where his passion for counterfeit documents and money started. He has trained over 1,500 officers in recognizing counterfeit documents in the Kansas City Metro and throughout Kansas and Missouri.
Previously Deputy Kisler worked for the Shawnee County Sheriff’s Office in Topeka, Kansas from 1993 through 2001 as a Patrol Deputy, Crime Scene Officer and an Evidence Room Officer.
From 1986-2001, Allen spent 15 years with the Kansas Army National Guard as a Staff Sergeant with C Company, 1 st Battalion 108 th Aviation as an Avionics Technical Inspector, on UH-60 Blackhawk and UH-1 Huey Helicopter. He obtained the MOS as a 95B, Military Police while serving.
