Cyber Security Workshop - Wichita KS

When:  Jul 16, 2019 from 13:00 to 16:00 (CT)
Associated with  Greater Kansas City Chapter

Wichita State's Hub for Cyber Security Education and Awareness (HCEA) and Air Capital Chapter of AFCEA is offering a low-cost Cyber Security workshop on July 16, 2019 from 1:00-3:30 PM.

Ticket pricing is $6 per person.

Learn how to protect your employee's private information, your intellectual property, your customer's data, and how to use a mature cyber security program as a differentiator to increase sales and grow your company.

You don’t need to be a technology expert to attend – quite the opposite. We’ll keep the discussion at the functional level – so senior leaders and managers can get a better idea of the importance of a strong security program and what is required to meet new contractual standards.

We'll cover policies and best practices that every organization should have in place; and review how to meet new cyber security requirements for Federal Government and DoD contracts, such as FARS 52.204-21, DFARS 252.204-7012 and NIST800-171.

When you leave, you'll have a list of action items to guide you through securing your organization – regardless of the type or size.

We’ve developed this workshop to assist our local organizations in the creation of an effective security program to safeguard their investments and support job growth. To make it budget-friendly, we’ve set the price at $6 per person.

AND - this training has been APPROVED across the board by CompTIA, GIAC, and CertNexus for at least 2 GIAC CPEs, 2 CertNexus CECs for Cybersecurity First Responder, and 2 CompTIA CEUs for A+, Network+, Security+, Linux+, Cloud+, PenTest+, CySA+, CASP+.

Hope to see you there!
