Dear ISACA Lebanon Chapter Members,
It is my honor to serve as ISACA Lebanon Chapter president for 2019. I would like to thank the board for the trust they put in me to lead the chapter from October 2018 throughout 2019, which happens the same year that our Organization celebrates its 50th anniversary. Also, I’d like to thank Mr. Dany Moarkesh, Immediate Past President, for actively leading the chapter Board for the past term and for all the efforts and achievements he and the board were able to achieve.
Currently, the chapter has almost 200 members who collectively constitute the niche of experts in Lebanon in domains such as Information Security, IT Governance, IT Audit, Risk Management etc.
As a chapter board we will strive to keep the constant increase of the chapter membership and attract new sectors and less represented groups in the chapter such as University students/ Recent graduates, women, etc.
At the same time, we want to continue enhancing the value of chapter membership by conducting monthly educational events, certifications trainings courses, collaborating with other organizations and conferences to keep our members involved and informed of the latest news and events that matters to them and at the same time collect the necessary CPEs for maintaining their certifications.
Moreover, we will strive to participate in the legislative efforts currently running in the country. We believe that with the richness of our member knowledge and their expertise combined with the valuable resources that ISACA International can provide, we can provide an independent informative opinion one several initiatives and legislative efforts that relate to Cybersecurity, Digitization, IT Governance etc,
On behalf of the chapter board I would like to thank you for being valuable members in our Chapter and we look forward to serve you to further promote our chapter, our activities, our membership value, our expertise and our reach.
