ISACA Lusaka Chapter

The Chapter aims to sponsor local educational seminars and workshops, conduct regular chapter meetings, and help to promote further and elevate the visibility of the IS audit, control and Security Profession throughout Zambia.

ISACA (Previously known as the Information Systems Audit and Control Association) is a worldwide Information Systems Governance Professionals association.

The association currently focuses on assurance, security and governance. It provides globally recognised certifications in Assurance (Certified Information Systems Auditor – CISA), Information Security (Certified Information Systems Manager – CISM and Cybersecurity Nexus – CSX), Risk (Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control – CRISC), Governance (Certified in Governance of Enterprise IT – CGEIT and COBIT) and Data Privacy (Certified Data Privacy Solutions Engineer – CDPSE).

The Association is an individual member, source of practitioner of information in systems Auditing, security and governance. The membership of ISAC reflects a diversity of backgrounds and skills that make the information systems governance field challenging and dynamic.

Message From the President

On behalf of the Board of Directors of the ISACA Lusaka Chapter, it is my pleasure to provide a statement on the direction of the Chapter for the next two (2) years, to 2025.

I am thrilled to present to you a strategic plan that embodies our collective vision for growth and success. Our focus on increasing membership engagement, fostering collaboration with stakeholders in the private and public sectors, enhancing member retention rates, and promoting certifications will undoubtedly propel our Chapter to new heights.

In today's ever-evolving digital landscape, the need for effective IT Risk, Governance, Audit, and Cybersecurity has never been more critical. This strategic plan is meticulously crafted with our members at the heart of every decision. We understand that a thriving Chapter begins with an engaged and supportive membership base. Through innovative initiatives, captivating events, and a renewed emphasis on personalized member experiences, we aim to foster a strong sense of community, where knowledge sharing and networking flourish.

We recognize that sustainable progress can only be achieved through partnership and synergy. As we build bridges with stakeholders in the private and public sectors, we envision a powerful alliance that drives collective growth and fosters digital transformation across industries.

Certifications are the hallmark of expertise and competence in our field, therefore encouraging more of our members to pursue certifications will not only enhance their professional growth but also elevate the credibility of our Chapter and Association.
