Reporting to the Australian Practice Lead, you will lead the IT Assurance & Advisory practice in Melbourne. Within the IT Assurance function, the firm assists organisations to understand their key technology risks, with offerings around IT internal audit outsourcing and co-sourcing. Within the Technology consulting practice, the firm provides leadership to CIO’s around designing and implementing their IT Strategies and Digital Transformation agendas with advanced solutions in IT governance, security, data management, applications and compliance.
A strong leader, you will have the ability to build sustainable relationships across a range of industry sectors, delivering subject matter expertise across at least two of the areas below;
- IT Assurance
- IT Governance, Risk and Compliance (including Technology Risk Frameworks/Methodologies and Standards such as SOC2/ASAE 3402).
- May include industry-specific IT compliance standards
- Cloud Computing Strategy and Governance
- Information Security Management Standards (e.g. ISO27001, NIST)
- IT Strategy and Transformation
- Data Governance, Data Quality and Data Management
- IT Program/Project Management and Software Development (Agile / DevOps preferred)
- IT Operational Processes and Process Improvement (e.g. ITIL processes)
You will have extensive leadership and advisory experience at Senior Director/Partner level of a Big 4 firm or specialised consultancy, with relevant consulting and risk advisory experience within IT Assurance & Consulting, IT Governance and/or Technology consulting.
Your clear focus on practice leadership and business development within the markets you serve will be supported by an authentic, credible and ambitious approach, with a commitment to adding value to your clients.
Whilst specific industry alignment is not essential, it would be preferable that your IT Assurance and consultancy experience has been sourced within relevant sectors such as Mining & Energy, Healthcare, Government, Financial Services or Retail/ FMCG.
