TOPIC - “"Personal Branding and Finding Your Voice in Data"

Many data professionals discount the need or advantage of developing a personal brand and network. They argue that technical competence is the only key skill needed to find employment. But increasingly in our digital world with an increasingly fluid labor supply, developing a public voice and a professional network can be as important as technical ability. I will discuss how I use various media platforms to my advantage to build an effective network and establish myself as a voice in the online data community, creating opportunities that technical skills alone could not replace.
