ISACA Northwest Ohio March 2019 Chapter Meeting

This is a reminder that our next Chapter meeting will be on Thursday, March 28th where Jacob Nix, former Vice President of the Northwest Ohio Chapter and President of RISC Point Advisory Group Limited, will be discussing the risks all organizations face in data privacy and data compliance.  Note again that this meeting only will be held on a Thursday.
 
Doors will open at 5:30 p.m.  Networking at 5:30, food starting at 6:00 p.m.  Presentation will last approximately 60 minutes.

  • Friday, April 5th:  The Northwest Ohio Joint ISACA/IIA Cybersecurity and Risk Management Summit will be held from 8:30 to 4:30 at the Interprofessional Immersive Simulation Center on the University of Toledo's Health Science Campus.  Open to members only.  Details to come.  Note: We will be sending out a reminder email for this event shortly.
  • Wednesday, May 22nd:  The May ISACA meeting will be held at the Findlay Inn and Conference Center.  Brian Kelley, CTO for the Ohio Turnpike & Infrastructure Commission will be discussing the Commission's leadership in implementing connected vehicle technology.  Those of you that attended the 2018 Cybersecurity and Risk Management Summit may remember that Brian presented at that event as well.  He left many of us wanting to learn more about this exciting technology, as well as other initiatives planned by the Commission.  We listened, and are honored to have him back to address our organizations to extend the conversation.  We welcome all current and potential new members to this meeting in Findlay.
