Presenter: Chris Giittinger

Chris Giittinger is a cybersecurity professional with a strong academic background and a passion for leadership and security. He earned a Master of Science degree in Cybersecurity from Bellevue University and a Bachelor of Science from Peru State College, where he focused on Computer Management and Information Science, Leadership Management, Human Resources, and Risk Management, complemented by a minor in Organizational Leadership.

Over the past few years, Chris has built his expertise in financial investigations, specializing in fraud analysis, risk management, and the resolution of complex security cases, while ensuring compliance with PCI-DSS and other industry standards.

In addition to his professional work, Chris is recognized for his leadership and collaborative skills. He previously served as Vice President of Phi Beta Lambda during his undergraduate studies. Chris is the President and board member for the newly formed ISACA Student Group at Bellevue University. His current professional focus centers on compliance, risk, fraud, and social engineering in cybersecurity—examining how cybercriminals exploit psychology and human behavior to manipulate individuals and bypass technical defenses.
