Join ISSA-OC and CISOSHARE’s Mike Gentile for “Top 5 Ways To Fix the Resource Shortage in any Security Program”
Everywhere you look you see that there is a shortage of skilled resources in cyber security. So why then are our best practices in cyber security so inefficient? This interactive presentation will explore this and present the top 5 things any security program leader can do to more efficiently use its cyber security people. From progress based security program development and the use of tools, to process design and implementation, this session will help any organization do more with less.
Presented by Mike Gentile. Mike has been on the forefront of security program development for more than 20 years. These experiences inspired him to create CISOSHARE where he serves as the Founder, President and CEO. Initially an experiment, now one of the fastest growing companies in Orange County, CISOSHARE strives to create an environment based completely on learning and teaching in everything it does. Mike has also designed and worked on CISOSHARE’s security program development application that provides a suite of program measurement and do-it-yourself tools for improving any security program. Previously, Mike built, grew and sold a leading GRC company and is a co-author of both The CISO Handbook and CISO Soft Skills.
