Welcome to the ISACA Papua New Guinea Chapter.
The Information Systems Audit and Control Association of Papua New Guinea Incorporated (152-ISACA PNG Chapter Inc) is a local chapter formed under the Association Incorporation Act (the Act). In January 1998 the PNG Chapter was formally established as an affiliate of the ISACA Inc incorporated in the state of Chicago, USA. The Chapter is governed by an elected Board and is not subject to the control or direction of any person other than as provided by the Rules or By-Laws of the Association.
The primary purpose of the Association is to serve in promoting Information Technology and awareness, and interest of the profession and its members in Papua New Guinea. ISACA’s main focus is on IT industry Governance and Business solutions in IT. ISACA draws its membership from the Audit, Accounting and IS-related field of professionals.
The Chapter is run by Volunteers who are ISACA Members nominated through the ISACA Annual Meetings. Its functions include the determination of the qualifications acceptable for membership, the administration of membership, conducting and facilitate examinations; assist in providing continued professional education and provision of services to its members.
