ISACA PNG CHAPTER is hosting its 2023 25th Annual 1-Day Conference on Monday 31st July 2023. This is an in-person event that will be held at the Stanley Hotel, Port Moresby.
ISACA Members can register at K800.00 and Non-members register for K850.00 .The ISACA Conference will feature sessions related to DIGITAL TRUST: IT audit, risk, governance, information and cyber security, capability and maturity, privacy, and emerging technologies.
Hosted over 1 full day, ISACA PNG Chapter Conference 2023 will allow for digital trust professionals to network, and learn from a diverse group of expert speakers.
Session topics will include Digital trust for Services in the cloud - security and privacy of a customer; understanding the differences between privacy and security; looking at ways your organizations can build their desired culture to support digital trust among its customers and staff, regulatory frameworks for emerging technologies; lessons learned from the latest cybersecurity attacks in PNG; building the next generation of cybersecurity professionals, and more.

Attendees may also register for the ISO 27001-2022 Lead Implementer four-day post-conference workshop, held from 1st-4th August 2023. Taught by ISACA’s active Volunteer. Mr. Garry Barnes, Practice Lead, Governance Advisory CISA CISM CGEIT CRISC CPDSE ISO/IEC 27001 Lead Implementer (PECB). The workshop is AUD$1400 for ISACA Members and AUD$1500 for Non-Members. The workshop highlights the key concepts of the Information Security Management System and its conformance requirements in a simple and pragmatic way.
