ISACA Phoenix Chapter August Webinar Presents

Zero Trust Privacy

Combining privacy and security is the new normal. There has never been a time when security and privacy are evolving as fast as today – cloud, digital transformation & ransomware attacks are changing how security and privacy mitigate risks. Privacy requires an enterprise-wide security approach but, all too often, security teams are stuck in reactive mode and focused on the legacy controls of the past and privacy is not a priority. Despite the advantages of operating in a zero-trust environment, challenges remain. This presentation will cover how to approach security and privacy with zero-trust in a way that creates a culture of seamless information security and privacy throughout the enterprise.

Traditional security architectures had their place, but with new presidential executive orders, evolving threats and businesses demanding more flexibility, agility, and automation; architectural designs have changed how security and privacy can enable the business. Understanding the role and responsibility of security and privacy to support business goals and objectives are critical in a zero-trust environment. A zero-trust environment can be implemented by thoroughly understanding the impacts up-front that function as strategic and cultural enablers for the business. Join us as we explain the complications companies face defining the separation of duties between security and privacy, their similarities, and differences and how zero trust enables harmony and simplification.
