Speaker Bio: Blake Hoge is a Managing Partner at Amplify GRC. Throughout his career, he has worked at various tech companies like Salesforce, Instacart, and Airbnb, both pre and post-IPO. Blake's passion lies in building Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) programs from the ground up. His expertise extends to ensuring customer trust, managing third-party risks, maintaining security compliance, and adhering to privacy regulations, all of which are crucial for a successful GRC program. Blake got his degree in management information systems and accounting from the University of Arizona. He is a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), Project Management Professional (PMP), and Certified Data Privacy Solutions Engineer (CDPSE).

Garrett Close serves as a Managing Partner at Amplify GRC. Throughout his career, he has worked at various tech companies, including Salesforce, Uber, Instacart, Discord, and Amplitude pre- and post-IPO. With extensive experience establishing GRC programs from scratch, Garrett excels in third-party risk management, security compliance and certifications, and privacy compliance. Garrett holds a degree in Finance from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo. Additionally, he is a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), Certified In Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC), and Certified Information Privacy Technologist (CIPT).
