Building A Security Program

Join us for our first in person ISACA Puget Sound Chapter meeting of the year at the Embassy Suites in Bellevue. Non-alcoholic drinks and heavy appetizers are included, starting at 6pm and the presentation starts at 6:30pm.
Ben Luthy, Manager Security Governance, Costco, will be presenting on building a security program. He will focus on how to identify the goals of your security program and the risks of your products or service presents to your clients/organization. Additionally, provide insights on how to document InfoSec policies and controls as well as implement relevant controls and prove these controls are place and operating.
Ben has 17 years of experience in cybersecurity, information technology, consulting, cybersecurity strategy, and holds more than 15 technical and cybersecurity certifications. Most recently, he worked for Deloitte as a Senior Cybersecurity Policy Advisor for the Deputy Assistant Secretary of the Army Digital Transformation Services team, leading policy development, standing up new cybersecurity accreditations, and leading transformative initiatives for the United States Army. Ben holds two Master's degrees and also works as a Senior Adjunct Professor at Champlain College, instructing Cybersecurity and Information Technology.
