Additional Call For Nomination

ADDITIONAL CALL FOR NOMINATIONS

Toronto Chapter Director Marketing Role

To All Toronto Chapter Members

On March 15th, 2024 the Nominating Committee of the ISACA Toronto Chapter announced its intentions to fill six Directorship positions for a two-year term commencing July 1, 2024. Nominations for those six positions closed on March 29th, 2024. Since then, the position of Director of Marketing was unexpectedly vacated. This necessitated an additional call for nomination for the newly vacated position. Effective immediately, the Nominating Committee is accepting nominations for only the position of Marketing Director for a two-year term commencing July 1st, 2024.

The Nominee must be a member, in good standing, of the ISACA Toronto Chapter. Further, the Nominee requires documented support of their application from two other members of the ISACA Toronto Chapter, also in good standing. Please contact the Nominations Committee to obtain the full nomination package.

The Nominee will submit a complete nomination package which includes:

  1. an Expression of Interest Form, duly completed and signed by the Nominee,
  2. a Nomination Form signed by two members of the Chapter in good standing and counter-signed in acceptance by the Nominee,
  3. a Conflict of Interest Form, duly completed and signed by the Nominee
  4. an up-to-date Resume, and
  5. a Covering Letter addressed to the Nominating Committee describing why you are interested in joining the Board, the intrinsic value you bring to the Board and the level of commitment you are able and willing to provide to the Board.

Please submit the complete nomination package, via email to the Nominations Committee. Nominations close at 11:59 pm Wednesday April 17th, 2024

The Nominating Committee will review the nominations received from both calls and put forward a list of qualified candidates suitable for the available positions. Inclusion on the list will be based on, but not limited to, the Nominee's volunteer history, core expertise, work experience, expression of interest, conflict of interest and any other relevant information. An interview with all qualified candidates will be conducted by the Nominating Committee to obtain additional insight.

In the event that there is only one qualified candidate for a specific position, that candidate will be acclaimed to the Board. When there is more than one qualified candidate, interested in a specific available Board position, Chapter members will be asked to vote for the eligible candidates. Expressions of interest for each candidate will be shared with the membership who will formally submit their vote. The successful candidate will be elected based on the majority vote.
