About

About Our Chapter

Our aim is to host local events such as educational seminars and workshops, conduct regular chapter meetings to enable networking throughout our members, and help to further promote and elevate the visibility of the IS audit, control and security profession throughout the Wellington region and the South Island.

ISACA (previously the Information Systems Audit and Control Association) is an independent, nonprofit, global association, engaging in the development, adoption and use of globally accepted, industry-leading knowledge and practices for information systems. ISACA's members are diverse and reflect a range of backgrounds and skills that make the information systems governance field challenging and dynamic.

The association of IT governance professionals defines the roles of information systems governance, security, audit and assurance professionals worldwide. Its COBIT framework and the CISA (Certified Information Systems Auditor), CISM (Certified Information Security Manager), CGEIT (Certified in the Governance of Enterprise IT) and CRISC (Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control) certifications are ISACA brands respected and used by these professionals for the benefit of their enterprises.
