Artificial Intelligence and Data Acts: Auditing Enterprise Clouds

When:  Apr 23, 2024 from 08:30 to 17:30 (ET)
Associated with  Greater Hartford Chapter

Webinar Outline

Enterprises are building cloud services that are empowered by AI applications (used natively or through 3rd party integrations). Governments around the world are working on regulating such services through laws and standards. In particular, EU has recently enacted EU AI Law with specific requirements for auditing AI-driven applications. The United States’ President has passed an Executive Order on the Safe, Secure, and Trustworthy Development and Use of Artificial Intelligence. Similarly, Canadian parliament is debating Bill C-27, which also contains Artificial Intelligence and Data Act. In this session, we’ll first highlight the impacts of AI specific laws and regulations on enterprise clouds. We’ll then try to understand AI specific laws and regulations that are coming in force in the US, Canada and EU. We’ll then review what enterprises need to do to audit their AI-powered clouds, and be compliant with upcoming AI laws.
