Dear ISACA Auckland Chapter Members,
The ISACA Auckland Chapter is pleased to announce our next lunchtime virtual event, to be held on the lunchtime of the Sep 25th 2025.
Topic:
Securing Our AI Overlords (with ISACA's AAISM!)
Abstract:
We built language models, we fed them data, we continued to train them, and let them learn. Now they are providing recommendations and "making" decisions faster than we can say "data breach." Not only can we not put the genie back in the bottle, this genie is redefining the world we live in.
We will be giving you a sneak peek behind the scenes as we introduce you to ISACA’s newest certification, the Advanced in Artificial Intelligence Security Management (AAISM). This certification is designed to help you secure the very systems that are probably already analyzing your enterprises weaknesses, identifying gaps, and influencing your career trajectory. We'll explore the new world that is forming around us and dive into AI governance and risk, all while asking the big questions: Is it ethical? Is it secure? And will AI one day replace me?
