Hack The Box New Zealand

The Hack The Box New Zealand is comprised of a group of volunteers in Auckland, Wellington, and Christchurch who host meetup events for cybersecurity professionals, students, and enthusiasts. As part of Hack The Box's community initiatives, access to their large library of gamified cybersecurity content is provided for meetup attendees to use during events. Attendance is always free.

The group aims to facilitate learning, collaboration, and networking in a fun environment in order to grow cybersecurity skills in New Zealand. Each event is highly technical. Attendees get first-hand experience on the latest tools to perform penetration testing, reverse engineering, and/or forensic analysis to solve cybersecurity challenges.

Hack The Box New Zealand is extremely grateful to the New Zealand companies, associations, and educational institutes who provide support by sponsoring venues and catering for these community events.

IT job hunting going nowhere? Go Bear AI is a social enterprise where we build job-seeker centric AI to help users find, craft, present and network so they can land their jobs quicker and easier.

The 2024 New Zealand job market felt like a "bear market", leaving many feelings vulnerable and exposed. We felt it too. A small group of IT and HR professionals in Auckland, facing the same uncertainty, saw an opportunity: could AI empower the underdogs? We believed it could.

Fuelled by late nights and a shared purpose, the Go Bear AI Project was born. We harnessed the power of generative AI to help those underdogs (aka 'bears') navigate the turbulent job market and find their dream role faster and easier.

Tom Wu, a visionary leader, is spearheading this project from Auckland, New Zealand.
