ISACA Malaysia 35th AGM

 

Dear ISACA Malaysia Chapter Members,

 

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Thirty Fifth (35th) Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the ISACA Malaysia Chapter will be held at / on:

Venue:  Connexion Nexus - Connexion Conference & Event Centre, No. 5, Jalan Kerinchi, Bangsar South, 59200 Kuala Lumpur.

 
Date: Friday, 17th July 2020 at 7pm

1. To confirm the Minutes of the 34th Annual General Meeting.
2. To receive and approve the ISACA Malaysia Chapter Audited Accounts for the financial year ended 31st December 2019.
3. To elect members to the Board of Directors – 

A Letter from Nominating Committee was sent out to all members through e-mail on Wednesday,9th March 2020, requesting for nominations to the ISACA Malaysia Chapter’s Board of Directors for the term 2020/2021. Any nomination received at the close of the nomination period (30th April 2020, noon) will be put forward to the members during the AGM to accept their nominations or otherwise.

4. To appoint the Audit Committee members for the Audited Accounts for the financial ending 31st December 2020.
5. To transact any other business that may arise.

 

Dinner (packed food) will be served after the meeting.

 

Due to current pandemic situation, members are required to adhere and observe the applicable directive, safety and precautionary requirements prescribed by the Government, the Ministry of Health, and the Malaysian National Security Council.

IMPORTANT NOTICE: Members are requested to register at www.isaca.org/malaysia in order for logistics and food arrangements by 10th July 2020 (Friday, noon). Please provide your name and membership number (and if any, dietary requirements) at the point of registration. Members who attend the AGM without registering will be entitled to vote – however, may not be entitled to the door gift and dinner/packed food (which is subject to availability and reserved for members who have registered).

 

Notes:

1. With reference to the Securities Commission Malaysia’s Guidance Note, a physical AGM is allowed to be conducted during Recovery Movement Control Order (RMCO) with condition of safety and precautionary requirements and standard operating procedures (SOP) during pandemic situation.
2. Under the administrative procedures of the ISACA Malaysia Chapter, members will receive the minutes of the last AGM, Audited Accounts and Nominees Profile via e-mail attachments. No physical copies will be made available during the meeting.
3. Membership register, as provided by ISACA International, will be as at 10th July 2020.
4. Kindly bring your membership card or an alternative identification. If you are a new member (and have yet to receive your membership number) or have just renewed, please bring your membership receipt / renewal notice.
