Dear Members,
ISACA Malaysia is organizing this event to provide members with knowledge on a Red Team Exercise (RTE). An RTE is a systematic and simulated approach to evaluating the effectiveness of an organization’s security posture. This exercise involves a simulation of real-world cyber-attacks and attempt to exploit vulnerabilities in an organization’s cyber defenses. The primary objective is to provide a realistic evaluation of its security measures, helping organizations identify weaknesses and refine incident response capabilities to better safeguard their information assets.
In this half-day talk on Red Team Exercise (RTE), participants will:
- Explore the purpose, evolution, and operational insights of RTE, distinguishing between traditional and advanced methodologies.
- Dive into the current trend of employing artificial intelligence to orchestrate sophisticated cyber attacks, showcasing the dynamic landscape of AI-related threats within the context of red teaming.
- Highlight the crucial importance of RTE in strengthening cyber resilience and maintaining a proactive defense stance.
By the end of this talk, participants will possess a clearer understanding of the essential elements of Red Team Exercises.
