ISACA Malaysia Chapter is organizing a data privacy workshop to enable IT professionals to develop better data privacy controls within an organization. This 2-day(s) workshop is specifically developed for the IT and information security professionals. It is a hands-on training programme that allows participants to be equipped with new competencies to perform their duties as an IT and data protection officer.
Based on a practical approach, this 2-day(s) workshop allows organisations to implement policies and practices to comply and stay compliant with the Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA) effectively, efficiently, and productively.

The speaker, Benjamin Sheperdson is a Country Manager of Straits Interactive Malaysia, Benjamin drives the overall operations and privacy solutions and strategy that build upon the foundation of enabling trusted businesses and responsible marketing. He frequently speaks at conferences and seminars and has over 16 years of experience in the area of governance, risk and data privacy.
Benjamin is also an Adjunct Lecturer at Singapore Management University (SMU) Academy and recently spoke at a Straits Interactive Workshop’s Mini Generative AI Workshop where he spoke about privacy risks associated with Generative AI and how we can mitigate them.
