  • Call for Volunteers

    Dear ISACA Milwaukee Members,

    We’re reaching out to invite volunteers for a meaningful guest speaking opportunity with Milwaukee Area Technical College. Dr. Martinez, a caring and passionate professor at MATC, is committed to providing his students with real-world insights from professionals in the field. This is a great chance to inspire and guide the next generation of cybersecurity talent.

    We are seeking three guest speakers to present on the following topics (or simliar):

    • An Introduction to Security Operations Centers (SOC) for Technicians
    • Getting Your First Cybersecurity Job
    • Beyond the Code – The Soft Skills That Will Make You a Cyber Star

    CPE credits are awardable to volunteers.

    Date and Time Options:

    • November 13, 2025, | 12:20 PM – 2:30 PM
    • November 20, 2025, | 12:20 PM – 2:30 PM
    • December 11, 2025, | 12:20 PM – 2:30 PM

    All levels (Freshman through Senior)

    Curious about cybersecurity challenges? Want to explore, learn, or just have some fun solving puzzles with others?


    You’re invited to take part in this year’s Capture the Flag (CTF) Hackathon, happening at BSides Milwaukee on April 2, 2025, at the Irish Cultural & Heritage Center of Wisconsin (2133 W Wisconsin Ave).

    • Event Time: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM CT
    • Challenge Theme: Planet Earth 🌍
    • Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) — and we highly recommend setting up your system beforehand.
