During this Jan 14th, 3 PM EST global webinar, David Gee will talk about key learnings from 24+ CISOs and interview Yabing Wang, CISO and CIO at Justworks who wrote a chapter for this book.
David will join early morning from Sydney, Australia with Yabing, who is based in New York, USA and is one of the CISO's featured in David's new best-selling book - A Day in the life of a CISO, that was launched in October 2025. In this book Yabing shared a chapter Do’s and Don’ts for CISOs.
1.25 CPEs will be granted for attendance.
In the book, Yabing notes that every CISO fails their first time, that the CISO role operates without a safety net and success in this role can be challenging. This fireside chat will provide you with best practices for your own organization and to provide you with mentorship lessons that you may not have received in your own career.
Yabing will be happy to share her own experiences and advice for the new CISO:
- What to do in the first 90 Days
- How to build and evaluate your team
- How to assess maturity before developing your roadmap
She will also provide some thoughts for the experienced:
- How to think about business problems not tech problems
- Choosing metrics for the Board and Management
- Best practices in presenting to the Board
