Cyber Is a Team Sport: Uniting Tools, Tactics, Procedures, and People for Relentless Defense
Cybersecurity doesn’t succeed because of a tool, a tactic, or a framework — it succeeds because people who think differently work together intentionally. In an era where cybercriminals operate like well‑funded startups and nation‑states behave like global-scale threat factories, defenders can’t afford silos, hesitation, or ego.

Shawn Sines - Director of Security Governance, Risk, and Compliance - FlightSafety International

Tales from the Front: Hard Truths from the CMMC Battle Lines
In the telling of compliance programs, there is often too much triumph and too little truth. This session offers a more candid account: the long, uneven campaign to establish and sustain an operational CMMC Level 2 program in an organization burdened by documentation debt, shaped by blended commercial and defense workflows, and pressed at every turn by real-world business demands.

Sebastian Szykier - Senior Sales Engineer - Zscaler

Burn Less, Buy Better: Cutting the Calories Out of Technology Adoption

Procuring new technology can feel like burning a lot of calories with very little progress to show for it. This session looks at how customer security teams, IT auditors, partners, and vendors can work together more effectively to cut the friction, avoid unnecessary “organizational cardio,” and get to value faster. Attendees will leave with practical ideas for making product acquisition and adoption smoother, faster, and far less painful.

Kerry Shackett, M.S. - Co-Director of the Career Collaborative - Champlain College

Barrie Silver, M. Ed
