Introducing the CMMC and the Cyber-AB

When:  May 15, 2024 from 18:00 to 20:00 (ET)
Associated with  New Jersey Chapter
Today, everywhere we look we see the term “CyberSecurity.” CyberSecurity can be defined as protecting computer systems, devices, networks, data, and applications from unauthorized access which is often described as “CyberAttacks.” The Defense Industrial Base (DIB), the DoD supply chain, is often the target of frequent and complex cyberattacks; as such, Cybersecurity has become a top priority for the DoD. The Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) program was developed as a cybersecurity resource aimed at safeguarding the information that supports and enables our warfighters.

The Cyber AB authorizes and accredits CMMC Third-Party Assessment Organizations (C3PAOs) that conduct CMMC Assessments of companies within the Defense Industrial Base (DIB). This free event will explain the contents of the CMMC program and the role of the Cyber AB
